The firm

trust administration, will contests and fiduciary litigation, intergenerational wealth transfer,
contested probate and fiduciary litigation matters,
business succession planning and exempt organization matters.

taxable estates.

avoiding unnecessary gift and estate tax liability.

clients who are married to a non-resident or non-citizen

- Creation
of irrevocable trusts to shield the proceeds of life
insurance from taxation and provide for orderly management
of policy proceeds.

succession planning, including buy-sell arrangements.
- Planning
to avoid potential disputes among family members, especially
when a client has children from two or more relationships.
- Protection
of clients’ assets against potential creditors.
- Use of
vehicles which allow clients to obtain assistance in
managing assets, including revocable and irrevocable trusts
and powers of attorney.

creation through distribution of trust assets and
termination.

Administration of estates of deceased clients and
distribution of remaining assets to beneficiaries.

Preparation of estate, gift and inheritance tax returns.

charitable gifts to reduce income, estate, gift and
generation-skipping tax liability while benefiting family
members, including charitable remainder trusts, charitable
lead trusts and family foundations.
