Alan D. Gluth

Alan D. Gluth is of counsel to Ryan & Sanders, LLP, and handles matters for the firm in Texas as well as in Southern New Mexico. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University in 1995, and his law degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998. His practice principally involves estate planning, gift and estate taxation, probate and trust matters and tax-exempt organization matters.

Mr. Gluth is married (JoAnn) and has four sons: Collin, Braden, Preston and Peyton.  Outside of his professional activities, Mr. Gluth is active in his sons’ extracurricular activities and is a volunteer coach and director with Frank Manning Little League.  Mr. Gluth and his family reside in La Union, New Mexico.

Mr. Gluth is board certified in estate planning and probate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of Texas and obtained this designation in 2003, after the minimum of five years of law practice in Texas.  Mr. Gluth is also board certified in estate planning, trusts and probate law by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of New Mexico and is one of only seven attorneys in the State of New Mexico to have obtained this certification.  He is licensed to practice law in Texas and New Mexico and represents clients throughout West Texas and Southern New Mexico.  In addition to his private practice, Mr. Gluth is also a credentialed mediator focusing on the resolution of probate and trust disputes. In 2007, Mr. Gluth became the first attorney in El Paso County, Texas to be selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition, Texas Monthly Magazine, in the field of estate planning and probate law, which recognizes the top attorneys under age forty in the state of Texas.  Mr. Gluth was also included in the Rising Stars Edition in 2008 and 2009.  Mr. Gluth is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Woodward and White, 2007 and 2008.

Mr. Gluth is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of New Mexico, the El Paso Bar Association, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the El Paso Probate Bar Association and the El Paso and Southern New Mexico Estate Planning Councils.  He is a Past President of the El Paso Probate Bar Association and a past director of the El Paso and Southern New Mexico Estate Planning Councils.
